GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation is the topic of the hour. If you (even if you don’t) have a business set up in the EU or serve EU customers, GDPR is something you are most interested in. Right?

In this article, I will explain GDPR in the simplest terms possible. I will also cover how ‘Putler’ will comply with these new privacy rules and also redirect you to some useful resources on how to implement GDPR on your website.

What is GDPR?

It is a new set of EU privacy rules aimed at protecting EU citizens’ personal data. It makes it obligatory for organizations to deal with such data in transparent and secure ways. It’s set to go into effect by 25th May 2018.

What are we doing achieving GDPR compliance in Putler?

We at Putler are reviewing and updating our internal data processes, systems to make sure we are ready by May.

Soon we will be releasing our new Data Processing Agreement to allow customers to lawfully transfer EU personal data to Putler before 25th May.
