Login to Putler
Go to the dashboard you want to add a tag to (Customers/Products/Sales/ Transactions)
Add the tag

'Tagging'

In order to search the tag simply type # continued with the tag. Putler will search the tagged item and display it.

For example: If you tagged a product as New-Feature. In order to search you will have to type #New-Feature.
